Below are photos of some of the equipment I have access to at work, and some of the work I actually do for a living...

Dayton manual Mill/Drill......................and the AA 13" Swing Lathe.....

A PlasmaCam CNC Plasma Cutting Machine. ( More on the PlasmaCam System )

A couple of Miller TIG Welders....

A Scottsman Ironworker and a JET Hydraulic Sheet Metal Shear...

A 12' Box and Pan Break, and a 48"x 48" Vacuum Former machine....

Kansmacker is the company I work for full time, I design and build recycling machines for deposited returnable soda containers here in Michigan, I also design the electronics of the machines and write all the controlling software.
Below are some photos of my prototype PCB's for machine control....
Top left, optically isolated  I/O Interface Module for the PC , on the right is a 3 speed DC motor control PCB with solid state relay for an AC 110V output.

Above is the replacement control board, based on the OOPIC II MCu, for the KS-12 can crusher that used to run on a Commodore 64 and Vic-20 PC's!
(We don't manufacture this equipment anymore, I just developed the control board just because I could.)

Above photo shows the Kansmacker Mini 3in1 Reverse Vending Machine that I developed for the company.
I use the PlasmaCam for my prototyping, and sometimes I run full production parts off of it too when my suppliers run behind.

Above photo is the current Kansmacker SuperSeries Reverse Vending Machine, this was still in prototype stage when I joined the company in june of  1994, the photo on the far right is the first release of the SuperSeries back in 1995, since then I had worked on it to improve its functionality and manufacturing process....
